Sharon Langford donates her time and financial resources to organizations and charities that focus on children and animals with special needs. She has received a Metro Council Award for contributions to animal welfare and the Julia Colton Animal Welfare Award. She volunteers for numerous animal organizations and serves on the board of directors at the Nashville Humane Association.
 

Sheri Snively is a U.S. Navy chaplain with a BS in Economics from the University of California, Riverside, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State, Los Angeles, a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Wisdom University. Sheri is certified as a Diplomate in the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She is currently a student at the Naval War College in the Masters Program in National Security and Strategic Studies. She deployed to Iraq with 1MLG from Camp Pendleton, California. Commander Snively’s father was a WWII Navy pilot and career officer, and her mother is a Quaker who can trace her Quaker roots back to the seventeenth century. Sheri currently lives with her family near San Diego.

Dr. Rashid Buttar trained in General Surgery and Emergency Medicine and served as Brigade Surgeon and Chief of Emergency Medicine while serving in the U.S. Army. He is board certified in Metal Toxicology and Preventive Medicine and is board eligible in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Buttar currently serves as the Chairman of the American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology and has treated patients from 37 different countries and 42 various states, including high-profile athletes, celebrities and even other prominent doctors and their families. Viki Kind is a clinical bioethicist, medical educator and hospice volunteer. She is a renowned lecturer inspiring healthcare professionals throughout the United States to have integrity and compassion, and teaches them techniques to improve communication about end-of-life care. She is the co-creator of the nationally distributed DVD, The Trusted Advisor: Relate, Respect and Respond, which focuses on improving the senior patients’ medical experience. Patients, families and healthcare professionals have come to rely on Viki’s practical approach to dealing with challenging healthcare dilemmas. She has also been a caregiver for many in her own family.

Viki provides bioethics consultation and support for many hospitals in the Los Angeles area. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Bioethics Committee and the Southern California Bioethics Committee Consortium. She holds a master’s degree in bioethics from the Medical College of Wisconsin and a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from California State University at Northridge and has specialized training in mediation and cultural negotiation from Pepperdine University and UCLA.

Author and noted caped crusader, Tom Rand started professional life as a software renegade in high school. Then he went legit, building a software firm spanning three countries. After selling it in 2005, he went after climate change full-time as a venture capitalist. Now based at the highly respected MaRS innovation centre in Toronto, Canada, he believes technology already exists to kick the fossil fuel habit.

Diana E. Hoppe, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., is a highly respected, board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist in private practice in San Diego, California. Over more than two decades, Gordon Perchthold and Jenny Sutton each initially worked for technology companies, and then for global management consulting firms. They progressed from senior consultants, through the manager and senior manager ranks, to become partners in Deloitte Consulting, and eventually managing partners of International Client Service at ABeam Consulting in Tokyo (formerly Deloitte's Japan practice).
